Key Projects
As part of the Engineering team, you will contribute to:
• Continuous improvement of the Process Control System (PCS) and instrumentation infrastructure
• Implementation of advanced control strategies and system upgrades
• Commissioning of new equipment and integration into existing systems
• Development of risk mitigation strategies and predictive maintenance plans
Responsibilities
• Design and implement engineering solutions to optimise control system performance and reduce lifecycle costs
• Review and improve process control strategies, including PID tuning and alarm rationalisation
• Configure and maintain PCS, instrumentation, and related infrastructure
• Commission VSDs, DOLs, network switches, and field instrumentation
• Conduct failure investigations and support rectification work
• Analyse system performance and predict maintenance requirements
About You
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled engineer with:
• A degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, or related discipline)
• Strong experience with PLC and SCADA systems (Rockwell Studio 5000, FTView SE)
• Proficiency in PID loop tuning and control system configuration
• Experience commissioning field instrumentation and control equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• A solid understanding of industrial protocols and control system architectures
