An excellent opportunity has become available for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join a major food manufacturing business located in Virginia, SA. You will work in a well-established team environment focused on reliability, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Reporting directly to the Maintenance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring the electrical integrity of all plant and processing equipment, supporting safe and efficient production.
Key responsibilities:
* Carry out preventative and reactive electrical maintenance on food processing and packaging machinery.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults to minimise downtime and maintain production output.
* Assist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery and process upgrades.
* Work closely with the broader maintenance and production teams to identify improvements in equipment reliability and performance.
* Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with GMP, HACCP, and site quality standards.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives across the site.

About you:
* Qualified Electrician with current A-Class Electrical Licence.
* Previous experience in food, beverage, or FMCG manufacturing preferred.
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving skills on automated equipment and control systems.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a large maintenance team.
