Chief Product Officer - SportsTech - Lot 14 Adelaide
Location: Adelaide – we are running a national search; you MUST be available to relocate to Adelaide as key executives and staff are based at MyVenue's Lot 14 Headquarters.
The Role: As MyVenue scales, they're seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to own product vision, delivery, and technical execution. Working in close collaboration with the CEO, CTO and Greater Sum Ventures (GSV), the CPO will shape product strategy and technical direction, embedding maturity, efficiency, and scale into the operation. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role responsible for aligning product and engineering with deployment and support, building delivery discipline, and ensuring platforms scale with the business. You will chair the Product Council and lead product delivery from the ground up — ensuring readiness, quality, and execution across all releases, features, and technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end product vision & roadmap with the CEO & CTO
* Chair the Product Council
* Own and lead the product release process including documentation & release notes
* Oversee MyVenue's LMS platform, "myUniversity", with new modules and ongoing maintenance
* Build the product function and deliver at scale in collaboration with engineering
* Establish strong delivery capabilities (project management, business analysis, Quality Assurance, release engineering)
* Drive maturity and rigour in technical processes, documentation, and execution
* Analyse and mitigate product risks; address technical debt and uplift practices
* Foster a culture of innovation, efficiency, and execution excellence
* Own and lead Jira ticket review, acceptance, prioritisation of new features, bug resolution, integrations
* Own QA testing including regression, automated & load testing, and smoke testing

* Strong technical/engineering background with a strategic growth mindset

* A genuine sports fan with enthusiasm for the industry
* Willing to travel internationally (primarily the US) when required
