Our organisation has been providing allied health, community aged care, mental health and wellbeing services for 30 years. We are a provider of culturally competent community-based and outreach health care services since 1993; our vibrant, not-for-profit organisation services over 50 communities throughout remote and rural Queensland. With a large team of multidisciplinary health professionals, we boast strong community connections and a passion for supporting 'healthier people'.
The organisations in our Regional Provider Network take a new approach to delivering client-centred mental health services. Partnering with several providers, our services take a collaborative approach, integrating different aspects of the mental health care system to deliver a cohesive, easy to access system of mental health care.

Primary to this role is delivering quality client-centred mental health assessment, treatment, and/or case coordination services, in an integrated, stepped care model of service delivery. This is a voluntary service for clients of all levels of complexity and across the lifespan.

Suitable professions for Mental Health Professionals include:
* Registered Psychologists (Provisional Psychologists are welcome and encouraged to apply)
* Mental Health Accredited Nurse (Mental Health Nurses eligible or working towards ACMHN will also be considered)
* Mental Health Accredited Social Workers
* Mental Health Occupational Therapists
* Our organisation is also very interested in providing student placements and work experience.

Essential Skills and Qualifications
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
* Cultural competence and understanding of diversity issues
* Capacity to work with complex mental health presentations
* Experience working in rural or remote communities is highly desirable
