Summary
The Junior Associate will service and maintain relationships with a portfolio of clients. They will take on a portfolio of clients with complex structures and will complete annual filings and ad hoc client requests. This role will also provide support to the Directors and Associate Director and complete database projects for client reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Support the ITC team in day-to-day client service activities, seeking guidance from senior team members as needed.
* Assist with maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients by communicating in a professional and timely manner.
* Prepare foundational documents such as tax forms, notices, and draft FATCA/CRS reports under supervision, ensuring accuracy before submitting for review.
* Conduct initial checks on documentation and flag any gaps, inconsistencies, or questions for senior review.
* Help monitor accounts receivable for assigned clients by preparing updates and gathering information for the team lead.
* Develop working knowledge of FATCA, CRS, and due diligence requirements, actively participating in training and applying learnings under supervision.
* Support the implementation and maintenance of department procedures and processes by assisting with updates, documentation, and testing.
* Assist with onboarding new FATCA/CRS clients by preparing checklists, gathering documents, and updating system records under direction.
* Provide general support to colleagues during peak periods or when team members are absent, including helping monitor shared inboxes.
* Maintain accurate database and Tracker records by entering data, updating engagement details, and ensuring information is complete and current.
* Follow department procedures for DEF preparation and DocuSign processing, ensuring documents are organized and submitted for review.
* Ensure timely management of emails by organizing correspondence and saving client communications into Tracker according to process.
* Support the team by tracking DocuSign DEF statuses, preparing summaries, and escalating any delays or issues.
* Assist with preparing AEOI reports or board materials by gathering data, formatting reports, and arranging meeting logistics as directed.
* Take on additional tasks as required, demonstrating a willingness to learn and assist wherever capacity allows.
* Share key learnings with the team and participate actively in team meetings and training sessions.
Education
* Third Level Qualification Bachelor's Degree
Experience
* Transfer Agency experience or legal background is desirable, but not essential
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Outstanding time management and organizational skills. Oral/written communication skills, and attention to detail is required.
* Must be able to work in a fast‐paced environment including reporting and providing support to various members of the team in a pro‐active manner.
* Individual with a positive "can‐do" attitude who takes ownership of assigned responsibilities
* Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word.
