Job Title: Project Development Manager - Construction Sector
Our client is a rapidly growing Civil/Construction company operating throughout the Pilbara region. We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient running of allocated projects, implementing business strategies, and increasing business growth while monitoring and reducing operational costs. This is a residential position in Tom Price with an immediate start available.
* Manage multiple projects including all project planning, financials, and resources.
* Ensure all works are carried out to Australian and State Legislation, Acts, and regulations.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure all works are completed to a high standard, complying with Australian Standards and current Building Code of practices.
* Lead and motivate a project workforce, monitoring and controlling their performance against role requirements and company policies.
* Organise workflow, ensure employees understand their duties or delegated tasks, and weekly planning & target setting.
* Ensure all project documentation is completed and correct prior to submission.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Previous experience as a Project Development Manager gained within the Construction sector.
* Mine site operations experience – ideally with Rio Tinto and FMG.
* A relevant qualification in Construction/Project Management.
* Strong leadership skills, ability to develop strong working teams.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Experience in drafting/submitting budget proposals and negotiating vendor contracts.
