About the role
Join our dynamic team at Commander Agriculture as a Spray Painter. In this full-time role based in Albany, WA 6330, you will be responsible for applying high-quality paint finishes to a variety of agricultural machinery and equipment. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our growing business and play a vital role in delivering top-notch products to our customers.
What you'll be doing
1. Carefully prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed
2. Operate spray painting equipment to apply paint coatings to a diverse range of agricultural machinery and equipment
3. Ensure a consistently high standard of finish by closely monitoring the painting process
4. Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the spray painting booth and related equipment
5. Collaborate with the production team to meet deadlines and maintain efficient workflows
6. Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations
What we're looking for
1. Proven experience as a spray painter, preferably in the manufacturing or agricultural industry
2. Strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail to achieve a high-quality finish
3. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
4. Excellent hand-eye coordination and dexterity
5. Commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
