Echuca Regional Health seeks to appoint a high calibre applicant for the role of General Medicine and Respiratory Physician within the Medical Services Division. This is a 12-month parental leave cover position for November 2025 to November 2026, with flexible FTE (2-3 days per week).
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing inpatient services within scope of clinical practice to adult general medicine services, including High Dependency Unit (HDU) and Acute Medical Unit (AMU) services
- Supervise and support Doctors in Training (DiTs), including Basic Physician Trainees (BPTs) consistent with their level of training and individual learning needs
- Participating in on-call roster for the hospital and providing support
Qualifications/experience required:
- Specialist Registration with AHPRA as a General Medicine Physician
- Significant experience in the provision of adult general medicine services, ideally including High Dependency Unit (HDU) and/or Acute Medical Unit (AMU) services
