Full-time, continuing position Based at the Townsville Bebegu Yumba campus, Douglas HEWL 4: $68,694 - $72,973 per annum plus up to 17% employer superannuation contributions, leave loading and other generous employee benefits.
ABOUT THE ROLE In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of financial data, processing transactions such as purchase requisitions, credit card transactions, purchase orders) with precision, and responding to customer inquiries in a professional and timely manner. You will support vendor and debtor compliance, reconcile accounts, and ensure all financial processes are undertaken in alignment with university policies and best practices. Your keen eye for detail and proactive approach will contribute to continuous service improvements, helping to refine processes and enhance overall efficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE To succeed, you will need experience in financial transaction processing, strong knowledge of financial policies and procedures, and proficiency in financial software—ideally FinanceOne. Your ability to provide high-quality customer service, manage inquiries effectively, and communicate clearly with stakeholders will be essential. Experience in a higher education or corporate setting is highly regarded.
