The Position
Position: Warehouse Operator x2 / Forklift Operator x1
Location: Epping, Melbourne
Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 10pm to 12am starts (night Shift)
This is a hybrid role. You will be required to complete pickpacking and/or palletising duties, other manual handling tasks, as well as forklift operating duties.

Who we're looking for
An experienced forklift operator and 2x Warehouse Operators preferably with produce market experience, who will be responsible for working with fresh produce in a busy market environment. Working across multiple teams, communication and forward planning skills are a must to ensure smooth operations. Availability to work 5-6 days for a 10pm to 12am (Night shift) start including the occasional weekend, if required, is essential.
What you'll be doing
* Safe and efficient forklift transporting and tracking of fresh produce, loading and unloading of containers and trucks.
* Daily pre-starts and equipment checks to proactively identify maintenance issues.
* Receiving and Dispatch work.
* Picking and Packing orders, manual handling.
* Other duties to assist dispatch staff, as required.
* Current Forklift License essential, with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
* At least 1 year of experience in a warehouse or market environment.
* Previous experience working in Fresh Produce Markets highly desirable.
* An understanding or perishable goods picking, stock rotation and expiry date sorting.
* A cool head under pressure and ability to work in a diverse team.
