A research role is available at the Manos Institute for Cognitive Economics, UNSW Business School.
Location: Kensington, New South Wales, Australia. Employment Type: Full Time, 35 hours per week. Duration: 1-year fixed term with a possibility of extension. Remuneration: Academic Level A $91,381 per annum + 17% super + Annual Leave Loading. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Candidates must hold unrestricted work rights to be considered.
Role and Responsibilities
The Research Associate will contribute to the research activities of the Manos Institute for Cognitive Economics at UNSW Business School. The role involves undertaking defined research projects, contributing to high-quality scholarly outputs, and supporting the dissemination of research outcomes through publications, presentations, and engagement with relevant academic communities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake defined research projects within the institute's remit.
* Contribute to high-quality scholarly outputs and publications.
* Support dissemination of research outcomes through presentations and engagement with academic communities.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
* Contribute to the institute's mission in cognitive economics.
Required Skills and Qualifications
An undergraduate degree in economics or computer science is required. Full Academic Transcript is also required.
* Proven commitment to proactively keeping up to date with discipline knowledge and developments.
* Demonstrated ability to work in a team, collaborate across disciplines and build effective relationships.
* Evidence of highly developed interpersonal skills.
* An understanding of and commitment to UNSW's aims, objectives and values in action, together with relevant policies and guidelines.
* Knowledge of health and safety responsibilities and commitment to attending relevant health and safety training.
