As our
Delegate Acquisition Manager
, you'll build meaningful relationships with senior technology executives, offering them opportunities to attend events where they can connect with peers, have thought-provoking discussions and learn about new technology processes.
This is an opportunity to join a fast-growing team and play an important role in the success of its growth whilst benefiting from an achievable, uncapped commission structure.
Our events are mostly sponsored by technology companies who request certain parameters for the attendees. We have a large database of contacts that we can leverage, as well as utilising LinkedIn. Whilst most events we are inviting delegates to are unpaid a sales background is beneficial as multiple calls, emails and messages are required to receive RSVPs from the delegates targeted for that specific event.
A target-driven individual, who is used to making a high volume of calls and working in a fast-paced environment would thrive in this role.
What you'll do
As a key member of our events team, you will:
Proactively identify, contact, and engage senior business and technology executives to invite them to exclusive events.
Manage outreach campaigns via email, phone, and LinkedIn, ensuring timely follow-ups and personalised communication.
Utilise the CRM to manage a pipeline and maintain accurate records of interactions and delegate registrations.
Collaborate with marketing and event teams to develop compelling messaging and ensure a seamless attendee experience.
Build strong relationships with C-level and senior decision-makers, fostering long-term engagement for future events.
Attend events to network with delegates.
Achieve and exceed attendance targets.
What we are looking for

Proven experience in achieving targets within a sales or recruitment role.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to confidently interact with senior executives.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
A proactive attitude with a knack for problem-solving and relationship building.
Proficiency in using CRM systems and LinkedIn for outreach.
Familiarity with the business and technology landscape is an advantage.
B2B sales, or a similar client-facing role, ideally within events, media, or technology sectors.
Work with nextmedia's flagship technology brands iTnews, Digital Nation, and techpartner.news which influence Australia's business and technology landscape.
