About The Role 
- Full-time opportunity working 76 hours/ fortnight (Part-Time will be considered) 
- headspace in Canberra (currently in Braddon) 
- HPA Level 2 | $42–$51.23/hr + salary packaging | Above award rate, commensurate with experience 
About The Program 
headspace Early Psychosis is a nationally recognised leader in youth mental health, providing evidence-based, recovery-focused care. Our service operates under the renowned Orygen EPPIC model, ensuring young people receive world-class early intervention treatment. 
Our Program Is Structured Into Three Core Teams, Working Together To Support Young People At Different Stages Of Their Recovery Journey 
- Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT) 
- Continuing Care Team 
- Functional Recovery Team 
As a Clinician in the Mobile Assessment & Treatment Team (MATT), you will provide holistic, wrap-around support to young people navigating their first episode of early psychosis. You’ll play a vital role in their journey from crisis to recovery, helping them access essential medical, psychological, and social supports. 
About You In The Role 
- Provide ongoing clinical care to young people, focusing on early prevention and reducing the duration of untreated psychosis. 
- Support young people in setting and achieving recovery goals, including symptom relief and stress management. 
- Address co-occurring challenges such as substance misuse through tailored planning and interventions. 
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete administrative tasks using the Master Care EMR system. 
- Participate in weekly clinical review meetings, monthly business meetings, and bi-monthly team gatherings. 
- Engage in regular clinical supervision, both in groups and one-on-one with the Senior Psychologist and Team Leader. 
About You 
To be successful in this role, you’ll need: Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and provisional or full AHPRA registration (or registration with an appropriate professional body). Experience in youth mental health or early psychosis (highly desirable). Flexibility to work on-site at headspace Canberra, with some remote and community-based work. A passion for providing person-centred, recovery-focused care to young people.
