As a Carpenter Apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience across domestic building projects while completing a nationally recognised qualification.
* Setting up sites and marking out where things go
* Building walls, floors, roofs, ceilings, and even whole prefab houses
* Reading plans to determine the materials and components required
* Installing windows, doors, locks, and other fittings
* Using tools (both hand tools and power tools) to cut, shape, and assemble parts
* Assembling cabinets and other furniture
* Maintaining tools in good condition
* Assisting with demolition work
* Operating larger machines such as panel saws, planers, and thicknessers
