Our team is seeking a professional to lead independent assessments and reviews of matters related to legislation, policies, and procedures. The role will be responsible for ensuring fairness, transparency, and compliance with statutory requirements while delivering exceptional customer service and operational excellence.
This supervisor will provide expert advice across council areas regarding penalty infringement notices, research data, and prepare comprehensive reports for internal and external stakeholders. A key focus is to keep management informed of legislative changes relating to SPER and CITEC, as well as any politically sensitive or high-risk issues.
Candidates will hold a Certificate IV in Government (Statutory Compliance) or similar qualification and possess substantial experience in interpreting and applying legislation, policies, standards, regulations, and procedures. As a natural leader, they are confident in setting expectations, fostering team engagement, and providing support to staff.
