Rides Mechanical Tradesperson
$55.76 per hour | Full Time – Rolling Roster (4 days on, 4 days off)

The Opportunity

As an integral part of Movie World's maintenance team, you'll be part of the dedicated team working behind the thrills by keeping our world-class rides safe. From routine safety checks, preventative maintenance and overhaul of some of Australia's most exciting attractions.
Key Responsibilities
Keep the rides rolling, and switch on the fun, one ride at a time You'll be:
• Undertake park pre-opening safety checks
• Respond to breakdowns on various equipment within set timeframes
• Stock control and deliveries
• Ensure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to OHS procedures
• Obtain equipment licenses and undertaking training as required
• Complete daily tasks as instructed by the engineering supervisor
• Suggest improvements in work procedures in order to increase efficiency within the department
What We're Looking For
A passionate maintenance tradesperson with professional dedication to keeping out rides safe and reliable. You'll bring:
• A minimum Engineering Cert III Mechanical Trade - level certificate.
• Post trade experience desirable
• Experience in breakdown maintenance and diagnostics
• Ability to read hydraulic and pneumatic schematics
• Welding and fabrication skills would be highly regarded
• Forklift license and EWP ticket beneficial
• Physical fitness to enable the climbing of ladders and stairs and be comfortable working at heights up to 60m
• Ability to work autonomously without constant supervision
• Experience with digital Maintenance systems
