The Opportunity
We're looking for skilled, driven individuals to join the CH-47F (Chinook) Maintenance and Logistics Support Program located at the Army Aviation Centre Oakey, Queensland with the Republic of Singapore Air Force. As an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME), you'll be hands‐on with maintenance, modifications, servicing, inspections, testing and fault‐finding on aircraft systems. You will:
* Collaborating with the MRO team to ensure efficient task completion.
* Ensuring compliance within the DASR Part 145 Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE) regulations.
* Fostering effective communication and coordination with Boeing, customers, and industry teams.
* Ensuring Quality Assurance (QA) procedures, aircraft maintenance/modification operating procedures, and meticulous documentation practices.
* Embrace a positive attitude towards Environmental Health & Safety, prioritizing the well‐being of all personnel.
What You Will Bring To BDA
* Certificate IV in Aeroskills (Mechanical)
* Be an Australian Citizen to meet Defence security requirements.
* Hold a current driver's licence.
Desirable
* Previous experience working with Military aircraft.
* Hold a CASA or DASA Maintenance Licence.

Security Clearance
You will be required to successfully undergo the vetting process for a Government security clearance (Baseline) sponsored by BDA. Therefore, you must be willing to disclose all relevant and required information and must have the ability to verify your background for whole of life, i.e. birth to present time.
