About the Role

Senior Allied Health Clinician with experience in clinical education and supervision. Join SASH's Workforce Development team in a full‐time, ongoing capacity of 80 hours per fortnight with monthly ADO.

Key responsibilities include supporting the development and implementation of SASH's orientation programme for new staff, its ongoing credentialing and capability frameworks, and a new graduate programme for entry‐level sexual assault clinicians. Reporting to the Workforce and Service Development Lead, the role will collaborate with SASH Clinical Managers to support clinicians in delivering high‐quality, evidence‐based therapeutic interventions to children who have experienced sexual harm and their families. The role will co‐work cases with developing clinicians, provide clinical supervision in line with SASH's supervision policy, and deliver and source education and outcomes‐focused learning for new graduate clinicians. Participation in the after‐hours sexual assault crisis response roster is required.

Responsibilities

* Provision of advanced practice, evidence‐based assessment and therapeutic interventions to children and young people within a trauma‐focused model of recovery.
* Professional development and wellbeing of clinicians by providing specialist sexual assault clinical supervision, mentoring and support.
* Contribution to implementation of a robust credentialing, capability and professional development framework to support clinical excellence and workforce sustainability.

* Psychologist Grade 3, Year 1 to Year 4 (PL1 – PL4)
* Social Worker Grade 3, Year 1 to Year 4 (SC31 – SC34)
* Occupational Therapist Grade 3, Year 1 to Year 4 (VG3 – VG6)
* Other relevant discipline

Qualifications & Experience

* Recognised qualification in the relevant discipline and current registration with the relevant AHPRA Board and/or eligibility for membership with the professional body.
* Experience in the provision of clinical supervision.
* Experience developing, delivering and evaluating education/training programmes for clinical staff, interns and/or students.

About SASH

SASH is a Centre Against Sexual Assault (CASA) – a specialist sexual assault service based at the Royal Children's Hospital.

SASH Provides

* Sexual Assault Crisis Response for children following sexual harm (recent experience or disclosure) and their families, provided face‐to‐face 24/7 at the RCH.
* Counselling for children living in Metro West Melbourne who have experienced sexual harm or engaged in harmful sexual behaviour and their families.
* Consultation and professional education to enhance community capacity, confidence and capability in the safety, rights and recovery of children after sexual harm.

Other Requirements
