Grant-Funded Researcher (A/B) - Computer Science
Job Details:
* Fixed term position until 31 December 2025.
* Full time or Part time will be considered.
About The Role:
This role involves conducting research on assigned projects with minimal supervision, producing conference and seminar papers, and publications. Building prototypes/testbeds based on research outcomes, attending group and project meetings, and advising post-graduate students in the field of research are also key duties.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct high-quality research in distributed data-intensive systems, AI/ML, and large-scale cloud/edge/fog computing solutions.
* Design and implement intelligent deployment tools, monitoring systems, and sustainability-sensitive software systems.
* Develop prototypes and automation tools using programming languages such as Java, C, Python, Bash, PowerShell, or X86 Assembly.
* Mentor PhD, graduate, and undergraduate students in research and academic activities.
Qualifications And Experience:
* Completed PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
* Minimum 2 years of relevant postdoctoral or industry experience.
* Proven experience in designing and implementing intelligent deployment tools, monitoring systems, and sustainability-sensitive software systems.
* Strong background in mentoring PhD, graduate, and undergraduate students.
