Join Our Team: Receptionist & Administration Assistant, Full-time (1.0 FTE) | 12-Month Contract | School Terms Only (40 weeks)
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised Receptionist and Administration Assistant to support the seamless operation of our College Office. In this multifaceted role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our community, greeting students, parents, and visitors with excellence. Beyond reception duties, you will provide vital administrative support to the Registrar and Communications Manager and other key personnel. The successful candidate will possess a sharp eye for detail, superior time management skills, and a commitment to high-quality customer service.
The role:
* Receive and direct all incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, take and distribute messages promptly and efficiently
* Ensure that all visitors sign-in and show the appropriate identification that meets College requirement
* Maintain student attendance/absentees, follow up unexplained absences and advise the relevant staff where follow up is required
* General administration duties i.e., management of incoming and outgoing of external and internal mail
* Receive and process cash and credit card transactions from members of the College community including payment of fees and receipt payments
* Communication with parent community when required
What we need:
* A current South Australian Working With Child Check (WWCC)
* A current Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse and neglect (RRHAN) certificate
* A current First Aid and CPR Certificate (preferred)
* Certificate 2 or above in Business or Business Administration (preferred)
All certificates and qualification(s) must be provided to the College prior to commencement of employment; and the College requires the applicant to disclose any information relevant to their eligibility to engage in activities involving children and young people.
