About the role
We are seeking a skilled, long distance HC/MC Cement Tanker Truck Driver to join our team in Murwillumbah, NSW. As an HC/MC Truck Driver, you will play a crucial role in our road transport operations, delivering cement powder and flyash safely and efficiently across NSW & QLD. This is a full-time position.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operate Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) truck to transport products
2. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in proper working condition
3. Plan and execute transportation routes, taking into account factors such as traffic, weather, and delivery schedules
4. Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper load distribution and securing of cargo
5. Maintain accurate records of driving activities, such as logbooks and trip reports
6. Adhere to all relevant road transport regulations and safety protocols
7. Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and colleagues
What we're looking for
1. Valid Heavy Combination (HC) or Multi Combination (MC) driver's licence
2. Minimum 2 years of experience operating HC or MC trucks in a commercial setting
3. Strong knowledge of road transport regulations and safety practices
4. Excellent driving skills, with a proven track record of safe and efficient operation of large vehicles
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
6. Good communication and customer service skills
7. Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required
