They work across a wide range of large-scale commercial and residential developments, including some of Australia’s most exciting high-rise and façade projects. Their culture is collaborative, ambitious, and technically strong — and with a growing pipeline of towers and mid-rise builds underway, they’re on the lookout for a Structural Engineer to join the team in Brisbane. THE ROLE We’re seeking a technically capable, solution-focused Structural Engineer with 5–7 years of local consultancy experience, particularly across high-rise and multi-storey RC/PT buildings. You’ll work closely with senior engineers and Revit teams to turn analysis into coordinated, buildable solutions. Your responsibilities will include: Structural design and analysis of RC/PT buildings using ETABS Slab/raft design with RAM Concept – including vibration, deflection, and staged construction First principles verification, yield line analysis, and peer reviews Producing detailed markups, schedules, and coordinating with drafters for high-quality documentation Attending consultant meetings and liaising with clients, architects, and builders Preparing technical reports, RFI responses, and specifications Applying NCC, AS3600, AS/NZS1170 codes in design and QA Supporting value engineering, constructability reviews, and D&C phases ABOUT YOU To hit the ground running, you’ll ideally bring: A Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s advantageous) 5–7 years’ experience in structural engineering, delivering multi-storey projects Proficiency in ETABS, RAM Concept, and an understanding of RAPT Solid knowledge of reinforced and post-tensioned concrete and steel structures Strong first principles ability and sound engineering judgement A track record in converting analysis into coordinated, buildable drawings Familiarity with NCC, AS3600, AS1170.0/.1/.2/.4 Clear written and verbal communication skills – client-facing ready Ability to prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment THE PERKS This is more than just a seat at a desk: $110K–$130K super (commensurate with experience) Flexibility and true work/life balance – short Fridays 4 RDOs/year A collaborative, technically brilliant team Career progression into senior/lead roles as the business grows Major high-rise and commercial projects across QLD and nationally Regular training, professional development, and mentorship Bonus scheme, EAP, and large-company benefits with a boutique studio feel HOW TO APPLY If this sounds like you, please get in touch with Nick Koop today on 0426 180 254 or nick@vividrecruitment.com.au.
