The role will be instrumental in collaborating with commercial, project-management, engineering and design technical leaders to create opportunities for Jacobs to plan, develop, deliver and operate a range of projects.Support the management of the team in development and growth, building design capability and expanding the portfolio.Lead and interface with GID delivery centres to improve delivery capability and meet targets.Deliver technically excellent designs and consultancy services.Drive business development, win work, identify future opportunities and support the win of opportunities.Develop and maintain strong key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to a select group of Jacobs key clients.Represent the team at key thought-leadership events.Collaborate closely with the Jacobs client management team to identify emerging opportunities.Manage projects in both PM and DPE roles, delivering on cost, time and client satisfaction.Provide design-management functions on projects, maintaining compliance with Jacobs QA procedures, including the deliverables review QA process.Facilitate the technical development of junior resources to meet market requirements.Engage with high performers to facilitate knowledge sharing and coaching.Promote safety culture within the organisation and with our clients.Support the PU in thriving in a global setting and encourage cross-geography relationships.Qualifications & SkillsCustomer Focus: Respond to identified market and client needs, recommend hiring opportunities, and support development and retention of client-valued talent.Articulate and role-model clear expectations on client responsiveness, orientation, delivery efficiency and solution innovation within the Section.Actively build relationships within Focus20/Focus100 clients and strategic clients.Situational Adaptability: Support the Section Leader to adapt priorities and model flexibility for Section members.Foster a strong flexibility culture that values and celebrates a range of contributions.Business Insight: Understand market trends and financial drivers, analyse trends to anticipate client needs, and contribute to commercial decision making.Ensure performance unit strategies support client talent needs and the team has the right skills mix.Values Differences: Drive a culture of inclusive, high-performing integrated teams and maximise diverse thinking.Actively involve individuals with different experiences, opinions and perspectives in pursuits, proposals and projects.Inclusivity & Cultural SupportAboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples are strongly encouraged to apply.
