Role Overview
Provide meals of high standard to patients, residents, community clients and staff.
Ensure individualized dietary needs are met.
Deliver all meal preparation and delivery in accordance with the Food Safety Plan.
Monitor use and storage of food, perishable goods, and consumables as required.
Responsibilities
Ensure a high standard of food preparation and presentation for patients, residents and staff meals.
Interact effectively with staff, patients, residents and clients to facilitate optimum meal service.
Assist in ordering and receipt of consumables, ensuring correct transport and delivery conditions of goods.
Understand allergens, textured modified diets and the requirements to meet standards of the Food Safety Plan.
Monitor use and storage of food and consumables in accordance with Food Safety Plan standards.
Qualifications / Requirements
Note: Please refer to the Statement of Duties for all selection criteria.
Desired qualifications include Certificate II in Hospitality.

Details of Appointment
Permanent, part-time, shift worker (fully rotational) position, 48 hours per fortnight, commencing 12 January ****.
Hours to be negotiated with successful applicant.
For 12 months from publication, this selection may be used to fill similar vacancies.
Salary Packaging
Salary package includes living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.
District Allowances up to $4,618 per annum for a family.
