We are seeking a passionate and skilled psychologist with a particular interest in child and adolescent Psychology to join our well-established private psychology group practice. With over 30 years’ standing and a team of 9 experienced psychologists, our practice is known for excellence, outcome evaluation, feedback informed treatment, innovation, and having an authentically values-driven approach to mental health care.
As the longest-standing psychology group practice in Geelong, and one of the most established practices in Australia, we are proud to be a family-run business. With a low staff turnover rate, our average tenure of our psychologists is currently 11.2 years.
The Role
This is an on-site role for a psychologist working a minimum of three days a week (negotiable) located in Geelong West, Victoria.
The successful candidate will:
* Provide high-quality psychological assessment and therapy to clients
* Work collaboratively with families, schools, GP’s and other professionals when appropriate
* Be committed to feedback-informed treatment through outcome evaluation
* Contribute to a culture of excellent practice, ethical integrity, and continuous learning
* Participate in team supervision and professional development
* Be encouraged to bring initiative, creativity, and new ideas to clinical work
* Demonstrate strong technological competence, including proficiency with Microsoft Word, practice management systems, and web-based clinical platforms
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Holds a Masters level qualification in psychology
* Holds current registration with AHPRA
* Has immediate eligibility for Medicare provider status
* Holds Membership with the Australian Psychological Society
* Has experience in child and adolescent mental health
* Is an Australian citizen
* Has a current Working with Childrens Check
* Demonstrates a commitment to clinical excellence and evidence-based practice
* Values teamwork, collaboration, and shared learning
* Is proactive, reflective, and creative in their clinical approach
* Aligns with our optimistic, strengths-based philosophy of mental health
