The position of Consultant Psychiatrist is available in the Northern Community Forensic Mental Health Service. As a specialist forensic psychiatrist, you will provide high-quality care to patients in North and North-Western Tasmania.
* You should have extensive experience and skills in adult general psychiatry, including working in various settings.
* Training or experience in forensic (particularly correctional/criminal) psychiatry is highly valued.
* A strong ability to communicate effectively with General Practitioners is essential.
* Clinical leadership and interpersonal issue management are also important aspects of this role.
* You should be able to convey complex psychiatric knowledge clearly.

Requirements
