Job Title:
Culinary Leader
We are seeking a skilled Culinary Leader to join our team and oversee the kitchen operations of our vibrant community center.
Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the day-to-day kitchen operations, including menu planning and inventory management
* Coordinate a team of volunteers and staff to ensure smooth service delivery
* Develop seasonal menus in collaboration with volunteers and stakeholders
* Ensure a safe and clean working environment through adherence to food safety and WHS standards
* Supervise catering for workshops, events, and programs
* Support wider community programs and foster inclusive participation for older adults
* Use community development principles to engage with centre users and volunteers
Requirements:
* Certificate-level qualification in kitchen management or community services
* Hands-on experience in a kitchen or community setting
* Current registration to work with vulnerable people
* Valid driver's license
* Strong understanding of WHS and child safety responsibilities
