About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician / Fitter to join our Night Shift team at our Gepps Cross facility in Adelaide.

As our machinery footprint expands in Q1 2026, night shift hours will change, and flexibility to adjust hours in line with efficiency gains will be required.

Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, and working closely with a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring our plant and equipment operate efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

* Repair and maintain industrial machinery and equipment including continuous batch washers, dryers, ironer lines, conveyors, compressors, and pumps
* Troubleshoot and replace low voltage control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, push buttons, contactors, and motor starters
* Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and work order repairs
* Fabricate and modify new and existing equipment as required
* Participate actively in site safety, health, andenvironmental programs
* Carry out other duties as required

Night Shift Working Hours

* 38 hours per week
* Night shift schedule
* Paid overtime available
* Includes weekend and public holiday work as required

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced Maintenance Technician who can work independently and contribute to a high-performing team.

Skills & Experience

* Proven experience with pneumatics, mechanics, and general fabrication and repairs
* Competency in using welders, drill presses, grinders, hand tools, and other metalworking equipment
* Ability to read and write detailed repair reports, with strong verbal communication skills
* Excellent time management and ability to work autonomously
* Basic computer skills and willingness to learn maintenance software systems
* Trade qualifications or post-secondary technical training (preferred)
* Previous experience with industrial laundry equipment is highly regarded
