Technical Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Technical Support Specialist to fill a vital role in our organization. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our production staff by installing and maintaining operating systems, workstations, and peripherals.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Install and support Linux, OSX, and Windows operating systems.
* Provide workstation support, including moving workstations between rooms, floors, and sites.
* Manage and fulfill requests for peripherals such as monitors, keyboards, and other workstation equipment.
* Deliver equipment to and from employees, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
* Communicate effectively with vendors like Dell and HP to resolve part replacements.
* Use a ticketing system to log and report technical problems.
* Maintain image quality control, monitor calibrations, and ensure viewing environments are optimal.
