About the role
We're looking for a Social and Content Specialist to join our Brand, Media and Content team on a part-time basis for 12 months. You'll work closely with subject matter experts and external partners to create engaging content across social media channels.
Your day will be filled with sourcing ideas, writing and editing material, filming and producing videos with our in-house studio team, and posting across our platforms. You'll have the freedom to explore your creative ideas and combine your passion for social media with your content production skills.
You'll be part of a supportive and engaged team of marketing experts who are passionate about sharing our unique story. This is a key role where you'll have the opportunity to do impactful work and be valued for your contributions.
What you'll bring
* A relevant tertiary qualification in journalism, marketing, communication, or a similar related discipline
* Demonstrated experience managing social media and content across various platforms
* Well-developed stakeholder management and relationship building skills
* Significant capabilities with content creation, including copywriting, editing, AI-powered content generation, image and video editing, and creative concepts
* Experience with lo-fi video editing using programs like CapCut and Canva
* Expert knowledge of social measurement platforms and scheduling tools like Sprout Social
* Experience with Canva or similar design tools
