You'll work independently, manage end-to-end accounting activities, and contribute to a high-impact transition project that sets the foundation for future success.
Your Day-to-Day
As an Accountant at BD, you'll be responsible for all aspects of accounting and compliance, ensuring accuracy and integrity during this critical transition.
Your Day Will Include
Preparing and supporting indirect tax calculations and filings (GST, Payroll Tax, FBT)
Preparing, reviewing, and supporting corporate tax submissions
Statutory account preparation and lodgement
Performing sweep accounting and completing month-end close submissions
Conducting account reconciliations and ensuring data accuracy
Coordinating with third-party vendors for financial and operational support
Managing customs duty disclosure requirements
Handling ad-hoc general accounting and administrative tasks as needed
About You
You're a detail-oriented accounting professional with strong technical knowledge and the confidence to work independently in a dynamic environment.
You bring a solutions-focused mindset, a high level of integrity, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
You'll Bring
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
CPA qualification
3–5 years' experience in compliance, tax, or general accounting
Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Excel
Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
