We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Specialist to join our space geodesy team at Onsala Space Observatory (OSO), Sweden. This support role focuses on operating and developing the observatory's space geodetic instruments, advancing research in this field.
As a Research Specialist, you will work closely with scientists and technical staff to ensure the reliable operation of hardware and software systems. You will also be responsible for performing operational GNSS data analysis, overseeing the operation and maintenance of ground-based microwave radiometers, and collaborating with observatory technical staff to drive continuous improvements in measurement techniques.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in space geodesy, geosciences research, or a related field. They will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
About the Role:
