Job Description

As the Product Strategy Assistant, you will support the Merchandise Manager in developing and implementing product strategies for apparel, accessories, and footwear across our range.

Your role will involve analyzing market trends, consulting on product range selection and pricing strategies, collaborating with cross-functional teams for new product development, and ensuring commercial expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Support in developing and implementing product strategy for the brand.
2. Ensure product and brand alignment with customer and market needs, as well as brand strategy.
3. Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform product development and maintain market competitiveness.
4. Consult on product range selection to meet market / customer needs and align with brand strategy.
5. Support pricing strategies to meet commercial expectations of product performance.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including Design and Technical) for new product development.
7. Ideation and development of product briefs for new products.
8. Assess the commercial viability of new products.
9. Manage the launch of new products into the market.
10. Ensure commercial expectations are met for both product strategy and performance.

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

* 2-3 years of experience in a similar role with a commercial focus in retail or wholesale.
* Experience managing a product portfolio and analyzing performance.
* Background in industrial brands and ranges, preferably in clothing or footwear.
* Proven ability to collaborate with multiple teams, including sales, design, and marketing.
* Experience in data management and project management.
* Strong time management and attention to detail.
* Clear communicator, resilient, and results-oriented.
