Job Title: Workforce Planning Specialist
We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to join our team as a Workforce Planning Specialist. As a key member of our workforce planning team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing effective workforce plans that align with organizational goals and objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the development of strategic workforce plans aligned with Defence capability needs.
* Conduct research and analysis to gather data and provide evidence-based insights that inform strategic decision-making.
* Develop practical strategies to address skills gaps, enhance workforce agility, and prepare for future operational requirements.
* Contribute to initiatives that build critical workforce skills and deliver sustainable outcomes for Defence and Federal Government clients.
* Apply workforce analytics to generate insights and recommendations.
* Engage with stakeholders to work collaboratively on projects and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 3-7 years' experience in workforce planning, organisational design, HR or a related field within Defence, Federal or State Government, or consulting.
* Demonstrated ability to contribute to workforce planning or organisational design projects at a team, program or organisational level.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with exposure to workforce data, modelling or scenario planning.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business or a related discipline.
