Right now, our client is looking to welcome an Intermediate to Senior Accountant to their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a solid foundation in public practice who's ready to take the next step in their career-balancing independence with strong mentoring and support.
The Role:You'll be working across a range of clients, industries, and structures, delivering high-quality tax and accounting services with the support of a highly experienced team. Day-to-day, you'll be:
* Preparing and reviewing tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts, and SMSFs
* Assisting with tax planning and business advisory work
* Building strong relationships with your clients, providing clear and practical advice
* Communicating with the ATO and other regulatory bodies
* Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative, people-focused environment
* Using tools like Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks to streamline your workflow
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in public practice, with strong knowledge of Australian tax law and accounting standards
* A CA or CPA qualification (or near to completion)
* Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks
* Excellent communication skills, and the ability to translate complex information into client-friendly language
* A proactive mindset, professional attitude, and a genuine passion for helping clients succeed
