IP Australia's corporate plan focuses on delivering stakeholder‐centric, digitally driven solutions. The Senior Graphic Designer supports this by developing and maintaining quality visual content and resources that ultimately support and educate IP Australia's internal (staff) and external (customer) audiences. This role includes planning, designing and producing graphics and publications, ensuring that all visual content adheres to the IP Australia brand. The role collaborates with subject matter experts across various projects and corporate service teams to assess the scope and intended outcomes to determine the most appropriate medium for delivery.
As Senior Graphic Designer you will be able to work independently and providing a range of graphic design services to IP Australia staff nationally and to stakeholders nationally and internationally. The designer operates PC based graphic design systems, with strong skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop software.
It requires creative flair and experience in developing high quality content using modern digital methods. Strong client service skills are required in the provision of advice on printing, costings and graphic design consistent with the corporate imagery and standards.
To be successful in this role you will have:
* Manage various graphic design projects involving identifying needs, scoping requirements, managing any relevant contracts, approval processes, publishing, promotion and evaluation
* Concept design and development for electronic and printed assets
* Develop publications, promotional materials, web assets and system-based assets while adhering to the brand guidelines and accessibility guidelines
* Provide advice and support relating to IP Australia branding
* Provide day‐to‐day guidance, support and quality oversight to junior team members to build capability and ensure consistent delivery
* Audit and evaluate existing assets, identifying opportunities to update, repurpose or archive as needed
* Management and maintenance of artwork files.
