The Role
We are looking for a casual Practice Nurse to join our Byron Bay practice to be a key team member working collaboratively with an experience team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients
The Tasks
* Performing health assessments
* Administering vaccines
* Post vaccination observations and monitoring
* Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations
* Assisting GP with minor procedures
* Coordination, management, and maintenance of patient clinical data
* Wound dressings and removal of sutures
* Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals
The Successful Candidate
* AHPRA registered Enrolled or Registered Nurse
* Proven prior experience in General Practice or an acute setting
* Knowledge of Health Assessment is highly regarded
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Outstanding communication and customer service skills
* A passion for people and a personable approach
