An opportunity exists for a talented and enthusiastic Clinical Nurse Manager to join the Aged Care team at Karlarra House in South Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region.

Position Profile:
The Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM) Karlarra House position will work in partnership with the Facility Manager to ensure high standards of clinical care to residents, consistent with the Aged Care Quality Standards and WACHS Clinical Governance Framework. The position will provide clinical leadership, nursing consultancy and support to the clinical team promoting person-centred, compassionate care to all residents that reflects the WACHS values. Quality Improvement, Performance Management, Customer Focus, Disability Services Act and Confidentiality throughout the course of their duties.
Area Profile
Karlarra House, located in Port Hedland in Western Australia’s Pilbara region, is the WA Country Health Service’s only stand-alone residential aged care facility. This 56-bed service supports older Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal residents with complex needs, including advanced dementia and chronic conditions, through a dedicated team of nurses, care assistants and an Aboriginal Liaison Officer.
Port Hedland itself is a vibrant coastal town and a major iron ore export hub, offering modern amenities, a robust sense of community and an enviable outdoor lifestyle with stunning beaches and year-round adventure.
