As our project pipeline continues to grow, we are seeking a Procurement Officer to expand our Operations Team.
The Role
The Procurement Officer is responsible for coordinating end-to-end procurement processes, from supplier sourcing and RFQs through to purchase order management and delivery tracking. You’ll play a key role in ensuring materials, consumables and components are available to meet manufacturing and installation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Source and engage suppliers, issue RFQs and evaluate pricing and lead times
* Process purchase orders and track deliveries to meet project schedules
* Collaborate with internal teams to develop BOMs and support material planning
* Monitor supplier performance, quality and supply risk
* Assist with negotiating supplier pricing and support contract management activities
* Maintain inventory levels and support operational requirements
* Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive procurement efficiencies
The Person
* Relevant tertiary qualification in Supply Chain Management, Business, Commerce, Procurement or a related field; and/or
* 2+ years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing or contract management or related field within the Construction or Manufacturing industries.
* Ability to interpret drawings and work with technical specifications
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
* Self-motivated with a proactive and solutions focused approach
