As a Community Restaurant Assistant, youll help create a warm, inclusive dining experience where clients feel valued, connected and supported.
Your day may include:
Setting up tables with plates, serviettes and water, ready for morning tea
Welcoming clients and assisting them safely into the restaurant
Serving morning tea, lunch and dessert
Supporting clients during recreational and social activities
Encouraging conversation and helping build social confidence
Clearing tables and assisting with kitchen clean-up
Loading and unloading the commercial dishwasher
Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards
Assisting clients to the bus at the end of the day
Youll be working alongside a supportive team and guided by the Community Restaurant Coordinator.
