Recovery and Restructuring Paralegal Role
Dentons is seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join their Recovery and Restructuring practice in Sydney on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have excellent drafting skills, close attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of files.
The role involves acting on behalf of major banks and non-bank lenders on secured and unsecured recovery matters. Responsibilities include preparing and issuing legal documents, managing client communications, and working closely with lawyers to progress matters through Courts.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be extremely well-organized, have superior drafting skills, and possess close attention to detail. You will handle a large workload and must keep your tasks up-to-date. Prior law firm experience is not necessary, but applicants with secured or unsecured recoveries experience will be favorably considered.
About the Role
* Manage a portfolio of files from start to finish;
* Prepare and issue legal documents, including statutory notices and court documents;
* Maintain regular communications with clients via specialized online web-based portals;
* Liaise directly with defaulting customers regarding sensitive financial matters;
* Work with lawyers to progress matters through Courts.
