As a 2IC to the Financial Controller, you will partner heavily with operations, drive product costing, analysis and process improvement within a fast paced manufacturing organisation.

Description
* Lead the month‑end management accounting process, including journals, reconciliations and variance analysis.
* Oversee and refine product costing models to ensure accurate standard costs and margin visibility.
* Partner with operations, supply chain and production teams to drive cost efficiencies and performance improvements.
* Prepare detailed financial reports, forecasts and budgeting insights for senior leadership.
* Analyse manufacturing performance metrics such as yield, scrap, labour efficiency and overhead absorption
* Support inventory valuations, stocktake processes and continuous improvement of cost control frameworks.
* Provide commercial insight to support pricing decisions, capital expenditure proposals and strategic initiatives.
Profile
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or related
* CA or CPA qualification
* Industrial/manufacturing experience will be highly regarded
* Experience with product costing will be extremely advantageous
* Strong knowledge of accounting standards and technical foundation
* Experience with a large ERP like SAP
* Strong ability to influence operational stakeholders and drive process improvement
