About the Role
Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will be the crucial link in coordinating the financial, development and operational departments and represent the business with key external stakeholders. You'll oversee the day to day operations, managing staff performance and workflow delivery to ensure the business operates efficiently and effectively.
This is a hands-on role working closely with a small leadership team. From refining systems and processes to developing clear documentation that supports team success, you'll be the person who keeps the engine running smoothly.
Your leadership, communication and organisational strengths will help maintain a focused, motivated and collaborative team culture, ensuring our people have the structure and support they need to do their best work.
Key Responsibilities
* Support and assist the Directors with strategic and operational matters.
* Communicate effectively with key stakeholders.
* Provide high level administrative support and contribute to business planning and reporting.
* Oversee the Development, Finance and Leasing functions of the business.
* Lead compliance, risk, WHS and insurance oversight.
* Identify and drive continuous improvement across operations and administration.
* Develop, document and maintain company processes, systems and procedures.
* Monitor staff performance and implement improvement plans where required.
* Lead regular team meetings, coaching sessions and performance reviews.
About You
You're an organised, practical operator who takes pride in keeping things running well. You enjoy working in a smaller, high performing environment where everyone contributes.
* 7+ years' experience in operations, business management and the property industry.
* Tertiary qualification in business management, finance or related field (desired but not essential).
* Commercial and retail lease knowledge, including outgoings.
* Demonstrated experience managing staff performance.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to lead, coach and motivate a diverse team.
* Energy, initiative and a down to earth approach, someone who gets things done without fuss.
* Advanced computer literacy (MS Office Suite).
