We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate CHEF to join our team in a caring aged care environment.
A minimum of two years' experience as a chef in a residential aged care setting.
Awareness of needs in Aged care – Aged Care Quality & Safety Commission.
Awareness of the International Dysphagia Diet Standardization Initiative (IDDSI).
A current Police Certificate (issued within the last 3 years).
Being responsible for the delivery of nutritious, well-balanced meals to residents and, as required, to staff.
Maintain safe and hygienic operation throughout total dietary and catering services.
Communicating with Director of Nursing and Chefs to ensure continuity of a quality food service.
Carry out own work responsibly and properly.
Able to work as a team member.
Above award wages.
Must be a permanent resident.
