Team Lead
Overview:
The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations and providing strategic direction for a multidisciplinary team.
This includes leading the team, coordinating service delivery, providing expert advice, and monitoring client budgets and service outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and support the team, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and staff development.
* Coordinate tailored services that reflect individual needs, goals, and personal choices.
* Provide expert advice on emerging sector needs, service gaps, and compliance with legislation and standards.
* Monitor client budgets and service outcomes to ensure quality and sustainability.
* Collaborate on business planning and reporting in line with funding and legislative requirements.
* Maintain oversight of client data, compliance reporting, and risk management.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support innovation in care models and staff practice.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualifications in aged care, health, community services, or a related human services field.
* Proven experience in managing aged or disability services, including staff supervision and service planning.
* Deep understanding of relevant legislation, care standards, and wellness and reablement frameworks.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach, motivate, and unify the team.
* Experience managing client budgets, service data, and using data to inform service improvement.
* Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
* Sound computer and administrative skills, including Microsoft Office and client management systems.
