Financial Operations Role
The ideal candidate will be a skilled and experienced financial professional who can make a significant contribution to our organization's success.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing site month-end close, including cost allocations, journals, fixed assets, and general ledger reconciliations.
* Preparing monthly financial reports and analyzing results to identify areas for improvement.
* Contributing to budgeting, forecasting, and life-of-mine planning processes.
* Supporting the implementation and adoption of Anaplan budgeting tool with site and planning teams.
* Leading monthly cost reviews with department managers to ensure alignment with business objectives.
* Providing financial insights to senior leadership, highlighting opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiency improvements.
* Assisting with half-year and full-year audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.
* Streamlining systems, processes, and controls through targeted improvements.
* Delivering ad-hoc financial reporting and analysis as required.
* Conducting regular site visits to monitor progress and provide support.
About You
* CPA/CA qualification is essential.
* Demonstrated relevant experience in financial management and accounting.
* Practical experience with Pronto and Anaplan is highly desirable.
* Ability to travel to site when necessary.
* Australian working rights are required.
* National police clearance check or ability to obtain is essential.
* Full pre-employment medical process must be completed.
