Electromagnetic Warfare Intelligence System Branch (EWIS) is seeking a highly professional, motivated and experienced APS 6 ICT Security Specialists to assist in the management of networks and the security of the Branch responsible for delivering electronic warfare capabilities to the Defence.
This position will be responsible for managing the day to day administration of secure networks, provision of IT and security advice to the wider team and management of designated secure facilities requiring compliance within specialised security frameworks.
The successful applicant will be required to utilise strong system administration knowledge along with stakeholder management skills to support a large diverse team to meet their security obligations in a highly secure environment.
The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).
**About our Team**
Within CASG, the Joint Systems Division (JSD) is responsible for acquiring, in many cases integrating and sustaining, command and control systems, deployable network systems, intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and electronic warfare systems, communications systems, satellites and wide area surveillance systems and guided weapons and munitions.
EWIS Branch, in JSD acquires, sustains and integrates electronic warfare capabilities into a wide variety of air, land and sea based platforms and systems.
The EWIS Business Units are comprised of members of diverse skills and disciplines who work together to provide governance, assurance and enabling services to support a wide variety of activities undertaken by EWIS Executive and SPO business units.
