SALARY – $110,000 - $140,000 per annum, dependent on experience

My client is a well-established engineering business who deliver complex infrastructure, construction, utilities, water, and industrial projects from concept through to completion.
Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Engineer to join their Adelaide-based team. This opportunity would suit an engineer with a Mechanical, Mechatronic, or Chemical Engineering background who is looking to further develop their project delivery experience within a dynamic and collaborative environment.
The Project Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:
* Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline
* 3–5 years' experience in a Project Engineering, Site Engineering, or Project Delivery role
* Experience working on construction, infrastructure, industrial, utilities, water, or process-related projects
* Strong understanding of project lifecycle management from design through to commissioning and handover
* Experience coordinating contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors on project sites
* Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation
* Knowledge of project scheduling, cost control, procurement, and risk management principles
* Strong problem-solving skills with a practical engineering approach
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams
* Experience with contract administration and project reporting would be advantageous
The Project Engineer role will involve:
* Supporting the delivery of engineering and construction projects from planning through to completion
* Coordinating project activities to ensure safety, quality, budget, and schedule objectives are achieved
* Managing procurement activities, supplier engagement, and subcontractor coordination
* Reviewing engineering documentation, drawings, and technical specifications
* Assisting with project planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting activities
* Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout project delivery
* Supporting site-based construction, installation, testing, and commissioning activities
* Identifying and resolving technical and project delivery issues as they arise
* Maintaining project documentation, reports, and records in accordance with company procedures
* Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives and best-practice project delivery processes
