A snapshot of the role:
* Prepare monthly management accounts & financial reports
* Develop and maintain project feasibility models, development budgets & financial forecasts to support project planning & decision-making.
* Monitor project profitability & job costing, alongside tracking & reporting on Work in Progress (WIP)
* Build & maintain project cash flow forecasts
* Assist clients in managing construction finance facilities, including lender reporting & monitoring progress claim payments.
* Business partner with developers, project managers & directors to provide financial insights that support project delivery & commercial outcomes.
* Identify opportunities to improve controls, processes & systems to enhance financial operations
* Support clients with scenario modelling & financial analysis (project feasibility, cost variations and development profitability).
What we're looking for:
* 3+ years' experience in business services or management accounting
* Experience within construction/property development, or working with clients of such nature (highly desired)
* Natural commercial acumen with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
* Exposure to advisory services, or delivering monthly commentary & management reports to leadership teams
* Ability to build budgets & cashflow forecasts (or at a minimum have strong theoretical knowledge)
* Desire to assist clients, seek variety in your work, & to establish a long-term career
