Overview
Project Coordinator - 3-6 Month Contract for Perigon Group. A proactive and adaptable Project Coordinator is sought to join a agile not-for-profit organisation. This role provides vital support across property and capital works projects while assisting with delivery of new initiatives that make a real difference in the community.
This is a hands-on and varied role where you will:
Responsibilities
- Assist with the establishment and coordination of sites across Queensland.
- Support the Project Manager in the delivery of capital works projects, including property upgrades, solar installations, and contractor coordination.
- Liaise with builders, contractors, and internal stakeholders — ensuring clear communication and smooth project delivery.
- Provide administrative support including documentation reviews, compliance checks, and coordination with Health & Safety teams.
- Act as a conduit in project discussions, helping to keep tasks moving and deadlines met.
- Problem-solve day-to-day challenges and provide general project coordination support.
About You
- Experienced in an administrative or project coordination role, ideally within a construction, property, or capital works environment.
- Confident with construction/building terminology and comfortable engaging with contractors.
- A strong communicator who can quickly pick things up, take ownership, and deliver outcomes.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage documentation and compliance requirements.
- Resourceful, adaptable, and solutions-focused.
